The main materials used during this time period was linen and wool. Cotton was also used even though it may effect the appearance or quality of base linen. Even though most costumes were machine sewn, they were sewn by hand for collars, sleeves and any other harder places machines couldn't sew. They shopped at the best and cheapest stores for Lenin and lenin blends with wool. Were particularly Hong Kong fabrics.
MEN'S COSTUMES
Ancient Greek men sometimes wore Chitons. Since chitons were unisex, men's chitons went to their knees, while women's went to their ankles (Therefore, the picture above is a costume because it goes down to the ankles on a man).
